Our Humble Beginnings – Tuticorn 1904
The journey of Tiruneveli Senna began in a small village called POOCHAKAPATTI by Mr. Somasundara Nadar in the year 1904, and was doing Senna business along with other commodities.
The Somasundara Nadar family moved from the rural Poochakapatti the port oriented Tuticorin in order to develop the trade. He was succeeded by his son Sankaralinga Nadar who along with his wife Mrs.Thenammal the lady behind the success of firm P.S.SANKARALINGA NADAR which got international fame from 1940 onwards.
